General Intent

I’ve worked in online marketing and web design since 2005, with a previous 4 year stint in traditional media advertising on the agency side. I have a wide-ranging expertise in online and search engine marketing, and more generally marketing strategy and execution. From devising web/print/multimedia marketing, to extensive web project management experience and execution, to writing and creating web content, to breaking down website and campaign analytics; my skill set is diverse and born from experience across many online marketing services and specialties.

I currently orchestrate and produce a wide variety of website projects and online marketing campaigns for general and local business clients. This involves a mix of client management and consultation, internal and offshore team management, content creation and editing, and most importantly creative and analytic thinking. Expert knowledge of SEO and SEM techniques and strategies. Sales and consultation to clients and team members. Building websites, social media and local business marketing.

One marquee achievement of the past 6 years has been helping build a successful internet marketing division for the web design firm The Design People, helping develop that business into the standalone online marketing agency today known as imFORZA, with current revenues over $2 million per year. Search engine and online marketing has grown leaps and bounds, and I appreciate having been actively involved in at least this small part of a growing and dynamic industry.

What I look for in work:

Collaboration and creative thinking are cornerstones for the way I work. I find so much motivation springs from having this type of energy around, teamwork and creative intention. I enjoy producing things online, from business strategy and analysis, to content and technology creation and beyond, and seeing these projects then succeed and grow are all key motivators. My work has always been a marriage of creative and technical know-how. I’m also comfortable in the roles of consultant/sales, as these are likewise often areas to communicate and offer a marketing “vision” that takes place online.

I am currently an executive project director for the online marketing agency, imFORZA, LLC., in a position involving a variety of department-level and client project management, all centered around web design and online marketing. This includes content creation, search marketing and PPC, SEO, building websites, social media and local business marketing.

I also work part-time at KCRW 89.9fm producing content for their website, and when I’m not surfing in the ocean or online, I build website projects in my spare time as well.
